Shape + Abstract Form
This study is primarily about its process. It is a series of artwork that experiments with the relationship between shapes and colours in a process of layering and repetition. Some of these works are harmonious and the composition suggest fluidity. Some portray a sense of collision and dispute. Other than the similarities of colour, choice of shape and use of repeating form over form, these graphics are created intuitively. They avoid rationality and the process is entirely passionate, decisive and uninhibited. Adobe Photoshop is fundamental in constructing this body of work. The use of digital colourization coordinates the outcome of what is called 'synthetic art'. Through these experiments, the ideas regarding the intangibility of computer generated graphics are explored.
